$5B Wind Energy Plan Okayed

AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Public Utility Commission approved a $5 billion plan to power four million homes on summer days with wind energy. Power lines will start providing energy from West Texas and the Panhandle to residents across the state in five years. When complete, the cost to residents will be only $4 more a month, commissioners say.
