Dear Editor, Former Vice President Dick Cheney is not conspicuously lashing out at the current administration in order to save the nation from some great domestic disaster; it is the safety of Dick Cheney and not the nation that concerns him. Cheney calculates that in a shrinking world and an open society such as ours there will either be another terrorist attack on our soil or so much fear of such an eventuality that he can be seen as the wise profit willing to go to extreme measures to protect the nation
