Impeach Bush Bill Dies — FWTX Petition Lives On

FORT WORTH, Texas Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s 35 articles of impeachment against President Bush went down in a ball of flames last week. The Democratic-led House voted 251-166 to send the resolution to a committee where it won’t see the light of day again.

Still, members of “Citizens For Impeachment” will continue to address the Fort Worth City Council this Tuesday, June 17, at the morning meeting.

About 670 petitions from Fort Worth residents have been presented to the council.
