Building Ecotopia: Intentional Communities, Part 1

“Once I was in Victoria, and I saw a very large house. They told me it was a bank and that the white men place their money there to be taken care of, and that by and by they got it back with interest. We are Indians and we have no such bank; but when we have plenty of money or blankets, we give them away to other chiefs and people, and by and by they return them with interest, and our hearts feel good. Our way of giving is our bank.”

America Is Led Nearer To Destruction By Its Lying Media

America Is Led Nearer To Destruction By Its Lying Media

Americans may be losing any chance of learning the truth from their mass media. Huge portions of national television and print news are apparently corrupt and lying about what has occurred in the Georgian-Russian war. The damned lie is the lie of omitting that Georgian leader Saakashvili ordered a sneak attack, that slammed down with a massed artillery and rocket barrage, on civilians late at night, as they slept. The opening salvo fell on people whom the legal Russian peacekeeping force had an obligation to protect, there at Tskhinvali, the provincial town in sparsely populated South Ossetia.

Tax Code Should Treat All Health Insurance Purchases Equally

Few people now remember that employee benefits such as health insurance only became common in the 1940s, when World War II wage and price controls prohibited employers from raising salaries to attract or keep good workers.

Those conditions propelled Congress to allow businesses to offer health insurance as part of an employee

Lifetime Penalties?

Many newspapers recognize the absurdity that seniors are being forced to pay penalties for late enrollment under the Medicare Prescription Drug Plan; however, there is another similar and even larger issue no one seems to acknowledge or address.

Every year thousands of senior Americans are charged LIFETIME penalties for “late” enrollment into the Medicare system. Why? Because it

Completely self-financed and released independently on his own Reserve Records, Every Night debuted at #53 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and at #50 on their Top New Artist Albums chart following its Aug. 19 release. It was also Billboard’s #1 Heat Seeker for the South Central Region.

The album’s lead single, “This Ain’t It,” is currently Top 20 on the Texas Music charts, and the video, shot recently at Gilley’s Dallas, is soon to be released.

Rhyder recently signed a publishing deal with Harlan Howard Co. in Nashville, and his songs, including Wade Bowen’s “One Step Closer,” remain some of the most recorded in the genre. Brandon continues to write with the best, including Liz Rose, who co-wrote “This Ain’t It,” and Radney Foster, who also produced Every Night.

Since the release of his breakthrough album Conviction in 2005, Rhyder’s career has been steadily growing. That album’s four singles (“Conviction,” “Freeze Frame Time,” Backroads,” and “Between Here And The Front Door”) spent a total of 24 months in the Texas Music Chart top 30. The follow-up album, Live, spawned Brandon’s first #1 single on the Texas Music Chart, “Before I Knew Your Name,” and has gone on to sell over 10,000 copies.
